KēSa House by The Unlimited Collection | A Hotel Review
Do you know the feeling when you enter a place, and it just smells so good, that it automatically makes you feel comfortable and at ease? Kēsa House by The Unlimited Collection in Singapore is one of these places. I was lucky enough to work with them on my current trip to Singapore, and although I already had expectations, they managed to overachieve in every aspect.
Kēsa House by The Unlimited Collection in Singapore is a unique property that exudes comfort, luxury, and elegance. Located in the heart of Chinatown, this flexible living concept consists of ten contiguous shop houses that have been transformed into a charming, smartly-designed space for business and leisure travelers. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kēsa House during my trip to Singapore, and I was thoroughly impressed by the property’s exceptional quality and attention to detail.
The Location
The hotel’s location is perfect for travelers looking to explore the city’s vibrant culture, as it is situated next to some of the hippest bars and restaurants in Singapore. The conserved shophouses are juxtaposed against the skyscrapers of the neighboring business district, melding tradition and modernity in a unique and captivating way.
Design & Amenities
The hotel’s interior design is a true masterpiece, thanks to the iThink Consulting Group, who also designed sister property Ann Siang House. The hotel’s collaboration with local artists is also commendable, as their works are showcased throughout the building, adding a touch of authenticity and culture to the space. I was truly impressed by the hotel’s communal areas, which are perfect for guests to mingle and socialize. KēSaLounge is a cozy space with comfortable seating and ledge space fitted with multiple charging points on both ends of the room for working. KēSaKitchen comes with two fully-equipped cooking stations comprising an induction cooktop and oven in addition to a pantry area with a microwave oven and a coffee machine. In addition, guests can help themselves to the Nordaq Fresh water station which dispenses still and sparkling water for filling your in-room bottles (rooms do not offer bottled water). Accessible via an entrance in KēSaKitchen is KēSaTerrace with outdoor seating, which offers opportunities for sundown alfresco gatherings.
The Rooms
Kēsa House offers a range of room types to suit different budgets and needs, including Standard, Superior, Deluxe, Premier, and Studio Premier rooms. I stayed in a Studio Premier Room, which was spacious and well-equipped with a fully-equipped kitchenette, a private landscaped patio, and modern amenities that met all my business requirements. The lounge area and full kitchen on the second level, as well as the complimentary washer and dryer facilities on the third level, were also extremely convenient and added to the overall comfort of my stay.
Team & Hospitality
The team at Kēsa House is truly exceptional, and they were always willing to go above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I was particularly impressed by their helpfulness and friendly demeanor, which made me feel right at home.
VERENA’S VERDICT
Kēsa House is not just a place to stay; it’s an invitation to experience Singapore like a local. Whether you’re a traveler seeking authenticity or an expat hosting guests, Kēsa House offers an unparalleled blend of comfort and charm. Thank you so much to Kēsa House and The Unlimited for having me, and I’m already looking forward to my next stay!
