If you’re searching for the best beachfront hotel on Koh Rong Sanloem, Island Center Point is a hidden gem worth discovering. I recently stayed at this charming seaside hotel during my trip to Cambodia, and here’s why it’s a fantastic choice for anyone planning a relaxing island escape.
Tucked away on the tranquil shores of Koh Rong Sanloem, Island Center Point offers everything one could want from a peaceful tropical getaway—crystal-clear waters, soft white sand, and uninterrupted ocean views. This boutique beachfront hotel is perfect for couples, solo travelers, or families looking to unwind in nature without sacrificing comfort.

Perfect Location
Island Center Point is situated directly on the beach, allowing you to take just a few steps to reach the pristine, crystal-clear waters and the soft, white sand. The hotel is located in a serene and tranquil area of the island, providing an ideal setting for relaxation and the enjoyment of peaceful surroundings.
Getting There
Getting to the hotel is easy thanks to frequent ferries from Sihanoukville (Kompong Som). Ferries dock at Saracen Bay, a short walk from Island Center Point. The hotel is also planning a private boat transfer service—a great option for direct arrivals in the future. Here’s an overview of the main operators (for now):
- Island Speed Ferry: 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM
- Buva Sea Cambodia: 8:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM
- GTVC Speed Ferry: 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM

Suites & Villas
Island Center Point offers a variety of cozy retreats and lavish escapes, ensuring there’s something for every kind of traveler. From the snug charm of the Superior Double rooms to the spacious elegance of the Deluxe Double and Deluxe Twin options, comfort is always paramount. My stay at the stunning Deluxe Seaview room was an absolute delight. With its panoramic ocean vistas and outdoor bathroom featuring a stylish bathtub (which, let’s be real, looked super fancy though I couldn’t quite figure out a situation where I’d ever need it), it was a luxurious treat that made my island getaway extra special.
For those seeking even more space and privacy, the Family Villa offers a generous retreat complete with two separate bedrooms, two double bathrooms, and a sprawling terrace—an ideal choice for families or groups of friends looking for a sea retreat like no other.

Food & Beverage Options
The food and drinks at Island Center Point were a delightful surprise. Considering the remote island location in Cambodia, the quality of the meals was excellent. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay, and you can choose from a variety of international and Cambodian/Asian dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Tom Kha Gai soup with seafood, which I had every day—it was that good! I’m not sure what they call it specifically, but it was a delicious and comforting dish that made my meals special.
For lunch and dinner, the meals are reasonably priced at around $8 per meal. The restaurant serves a range of dishes, and dining with a view of the ocean was a real treat. I’m very thankful for the culinary team at Island Center Point for providing such tasty and satisfying meals, which truly enhanced my stay.
Service & Activities
The staff at Island Center Point were exemplary, epitomizing warmth and professionalism throughout my stay. Their friendly demeanor and local insights enhanced my experience, ensuring memorable moments and seamless arrangements. While I spent most of my time lounging by the beach and immersing myself in the tranquil ambiance, the hotel offers a range of activities for those seeking adventure or relaxation.

Final Thoughts: Is Island Center Point Worth It?
Island Center Point was everything I hoped for and more. Its great location, cozy rooms, excellent amenities, and wonderful staff made my stay unforgettable. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just want to chill out, this hotel is the perfect place to stay on Koh Rong Sanloem.
I highly recommend Island Center Point to anyone planning a trip to Koh Rong Sanloem. In fact, this is the only hotel I would recommend on the island. It’s a hidden gem that offers the perfect mix of natural beauty, comfort, and warm hospitality. And while there’s no pool, the stunning beach and clear waters more than makeup for it.
