San Francisco has been famously slow to rebound since the pandemic, but you can tell this is finally about to change. Three places have opened their doors around me in the past week, and I can’t wait to check them out.

Cavaña

100 Channel St., 17th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94158 || @cavana.sf

Open as of Feb. 2nd. Ever since I heard a new rooftop bar would open in our hood, I was checking their Instagram all the time to get more insight views of their stunning design. Located on the 17th floor, you’ll surely be able to soak up some great views over the city, but it’s their drinks that hooked me.

Mili Wine Bar

110 Folsom St., San Francisco, CA 94105 || @miliwinebar

Open as of Feb. 1. A wine bar located on the ground level of the Mira Building with a selection that leans towards my favorite regions: France’s Burgundy, Bordeaux, plus California’s famous Napa Valley. The wines are relatively high-end and range from $12.50 to swooping $90 a glass, and a short food menu includes bougie snacks like caviar or pate de champagne, but also the good old charcuterie boards.

Mission Bay Wine and Cheese @ Thrive City

640 Terry A Francois Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94158 || @missionbaywineandcheese

Open as of Jan. 23. After months of waiting, one of my favorite local wine stores has finally opened their next wine bar – and this time right in front of my door. I genuinely appreciate their wine service in the store and can’t wait to learn more about my favorite beverage while sitting on their beautiful bar counter sipping a class of assorted wine…

You heard it here first (I hope). If not, be ensured it’s a curated collection from your one and only bougie foodie expat friend.
